About the Process
In just two appointments, you can show off a brand new smile. During your first visit, we’ll file away just a slight bit of the enamel on the teeth you choose to treat, and then we’ll take some molds, also known as impressions. These will be sent off to our state-of-the-art lab where highly skilled technicians will delicately craft your porcelain veneers.
You don’t need to worry about the wait time because we’ll send you off with a temporary set of veneers that serve to protect the prepared teeth.
When your permanent veneers are ready, you’ll return to our office to have the temporary set removed. The porcelain set of veneers is bonded to your teeth and then etched with light to seal the adhesive. We will examine your bite and remove any excess material before polishing off the final product.
Having veneers placed is an irreversible treatment. They are long-lasting but require proper oral hygiene and care. You will need to have your veneers replaced after 10 to 20 years.
